Acne Scars
Acne scars form when deep acne lesions damage the skin, and the body’s healing process produces too much or too little collagen. This imbalance leads to uneven skin texture, resulting in either depressed (atrophic) or raised (hypertrophic) scars.

Our clients at Medi Lase Cosmetic Center receive complete acne scar treatment plans. So, if those horrible acne scars are hurting you, don't hesitate to contact us.

Find The best treatment method for your skin
Fractional Laser Resurfacing
A fractional laser transmits precise microbeams of laser light into the lower layers of skin during fractional laser skin resurfacing, causing deep, narrow columns of tissue coagulation. Coagulated tissue encourages a natural healing process in the treatment area, resulting in the rapid creation of healthy new tissue with fresh, strong collagen and elastin fibers.
Face, neck, chest, arms, and hands can all benefit from the process. During treatment, discomfort is usually mild. The method yields long-term outcomes with little to no downtime. To obtain the desired outcomes, a series of treatments spaced one to four weeks apart may be required.
Fractional laser treatment is excellent for atrophic boxcar scars and non-tethering rolling scars because of controlled dermal damage which stimulates new collagen production and remodeling of the acne scar tissue.
Fractional Non-ablative Laser
The ability of nonablative fractional lasers can not only rejuvenate the skin but also treat acne, acne scars, melasma (Mask of pregnancy), and many other problems making it one of the most significant advancements in dermatology over the past ten years. A non-ablative laser can be the best course of action for you if you have multiple skin issues.
A non-ablative fractional laser, like the one we use, fractures the light energy into narrow channels so only portions of the skin receive the energy. It doesn’t remove the top layer of skin and heats the skin in a more controlled manner than an ablative laser. This leaves the skin less damaged and requires less downtime than traditional laser resurfacing lasers do.
Microneedling
Microneedling is a skin-improvement procedure. The treatment involves pricking the skin with tiny sterilized needles. As a result of the microscopic wounds, your body generates more collagen and elastin, which heals your skin and makes you look younger. It's also known as collagen induction therapy.
At Medi Lase Cosmetic Center, we use cutting-edge treatments, such as microneedling devices, to solve all of your acne scars issues.
Microneedling can be used for the following skin and or hair conditions:
- Acne and other skin issues can be treated with it.
- You may see black spots or patches on your skin (hyperpigmentation)
- Open Pores
- The skin's elasticity has been harmed
- Scars
- Scars that emerge on the skin are known as stretch marks
- Thinned and damaged hair
- Hair loss
Chemical Peeling
Chemical peels are specialized acid solutions that a medical aesthetician applies to the face. Over the course of two weeks, when used properly, the acid solution destroys and eliminates the top layer of dull skin (or sometimes deeper layers). The skin beneath is smooth and healthier after the peel. Chemical peels have been used to treat a variety of skin disorders for many years. One of the main indications of microneedling is acne scar.
Acne scars can sometimes develop as a complication of acne. Any type of acne mark can leave scars, but it's more common when the more serious types of marks rupture and damage nearby skin.
Your dermatologist will perform numerous peels over a period of several weeks. Deep chemical peels are done only once and take a long time to heal. Chemical peels remove damaged skin after each therapy and eliminate acne. There are also some unspoken benefits of your chemical peel. For example, your scrub will improve absorption of subsequent topical acne treatments you will be using.
Nano-Fractional Radio Frequency
Nanofractional radio frequency (RF) is a non-surgical skin resurfacing procedure with modern technology. Nano fractional RF reduces textural abnormalities and other indicators of skin degradation by increasing collagen and elastin formation. With little to no downtime and long-lasting benefits, a series of nano-fractional RF treatments can give you smoother, healthier, and younger-looking skin.
For skin resurfacing and collagen remodeling, nano fractional RF can treat acne as well as acne scars. It also has a lot of benefits, including:
- Smooth and diminish fine lines for firmer skin texture
- Younger-looking skin.
- Soften and decrease visible pores for even texture.
- Significantly reduce deep acne scarring.
- skin lifting and tightening
- Clear and refine blemishes for a healthier-looking complexion.
Microdermabrasion
Among skin exfoliating procedures, microdermabrasion is very common. In comparison to comparable alternative skin resurfacing techniques, it has lower risk, faster recovery, and fewer side effects. It compares well to laser resurfacing, chemical peels, and dermabrasion.
The damage caused by fine wrinkles, sun spots, and acne can be treated with microdermabrasion because it only affects the skin's outermost layers. Remember that microdermabrasion doesn't produce pronounced outcomes; it produces subtle ones.
Microdermabrasion is an exfoliation process that gently removes the outer layer of your skin. This procedure reveals the softer, healthier skin underneath, reducing the appearance of acne scars and other skin flaws.
Medi Lase Cosmetic Center offers you the most updated treatments, including the most advanced Microdermabrasion, to achieve the best results for our customers.
